Nardone & Company, Inc. was assigned to handle the inventory verification and disposal of salvage involving a widely popular retail store.  Hurricane Katrina damaged a portion of the wall and roof allowing salt water to accumulate in large quantities.  Working side by side with the insured, we utilized their inventory system to verify the counts.  Nardone & Company, Inc. conducted inspections, verified counts, organized a salvage sale and had all salvage removed from the loss site in 12 days from the date we first arrived onsite.  The total inventory damaged was $8,848,882 at retail, which was purchased for $1,169,818.25.
